30+ DIY Portable Travel Kits for Entertaining Kids on the go!

Monday, July 13, 2015

Providing Screen-Free alternatives for kids is one things that I love to do with this site, and while we totally bust out the iPad for a movie on a long flight or road trip, we like to have lots of other technology-free ways to entertain the kiddos ready to go.  Many of these kits we use on a regular basis in my purse.  I rotate through a set of them and slip one in my purse for a few weeks at a time.  Whenever we're waiting for a long period of time, whether at the doctor's office, or at a restaurant waiting for our food, I love being able to pop one of these out and keep my kids happy and entertained.

  3. I really love the magnectic sensory bottle. I live in Australia and have been unable to source the micr refill, do you think that iron fillings sealed in the bottle would work as a replacement?

    1. I would ask the person who made the bottle at Left Brain Craft Brain to be sure. Here is the link to her post: http://leftbraincraftbrain.com/2015/06/05/steam-camp-how-to-make-a-magnetic-field-sensory-bottle/
